Hi and welcome to organichappiness.nl! Organic Happiness is a platform where you can enjoy healthy, natural and organic inspiration. I love to show you that healthy, organic and natural food is not boring or dull at all, but super delicious. Because if you see the breakfast above your mouth will water, right?! And my secret rule is that I can eat more when it is healthy, what do you think?I love extended breakfasts, snacking throughout the day and smoothies for on the go and all the inspiration is in the recipes. Also if you want to have breakfast or lunch outdoors this is the place to be, because I will share all cool healthy hotspots with you that are worth a visit. How it started for me…

My love for food started at a very young age, I love to help (taste) and baked regularly with my mother, grandmother or the babysitter. I can’t remember looking forward to ‘eating moments’ then the way I do now. I do remember asking what we were having for dinner every day even when it was very early in the morning. So food was there from a young age, but that was not healthy and organic food. Definitely when I was about 16 years old I was not interested in it at all and thought that was dull and boring and not for me. If it was healthy I didn’t want to have it. I used to have breakfast in the weekends with cookies and had chips in the afternoon and in the evening. And somehow that switch turned on into the other side, to healthy and natural nutrition.

How I got interested in healthy food…

I noticed gaining weight quicker than I wanted so I had to change something. But how do you do it? How are you going to eat healthier? What can I eat? I decided to learn more about it and went step by step into healthier, more conscious and more natural eating habits. The first effect was the weight getting off quite easily and the second effect was having a lot more energy, I felt less fatigue and much better in my skin. Enough benefits for me to continue enjoying in this healthy way. That was when I found out that healthy, enjoying and delicious actually can go together.

If I love food so much and can eat more now, feel better and enjoy life more, I am sure other people want the same. Maybe you do? And maybe you also think, like I did, that healthy food and enjoyment can’t go together. That is the reason I started Organic Happiness. I want to show as many people as possible that those two do combine very well. Because who doesn’t like pancakes with chocolate, waffles with coffee, gingerbread apple pie and strawberry pastries? And that can all be healthy and delicious, it is all about picking the right ingredients. And to help you and many more I started Organic Happiness. Because of this platform I want to show as many people as possible how to enjoy healthy food. That is why I weekly share delicious healthy recipes, but also tips & tricks and healthy hotspots where you can enjoy outdoors. Because the time that healthy food was just some lettuce has been far behind us.

Organic Happiness stands for natural and unprocessed nutrition that has been produced organically with as many love for humans and animals as possible. For honesty, sincerity and inspiring and motivating others to eat and live more healthy, where healthy stands for pure, natural and unprocessed. Sometimes that means you have to pay a bit more, but we don’t mind when it comes to honest, organic and natural nutrition. At Organic Happiness we believe in the power of the healing effect of nature, like our ancestors. And of course the most important thing is that we enjoy all the sweetness that nature has to offer, because we want to show that healthy food does not have to be boring. That is tastes better than unhealthy food, because you feel you are doing something for yourself as well as for the world around you.

Breakfast, snacks and pastry are my favorite ‘meals’ of the day. I can eat all of them the entire day and I bundled 20 of those delicious recipes in an E-book. In this “Feel Good E-book” you will find 20 recipes, but also information about healthy food and tips & tricks to eat (more) healthy yourself. All recipes are gluten and lactose free and free from refined sugars, they are all easy to make and you don’t need difficult ingredients for it. You can find most ingredients in the supermarket and another advantage is that almost all recipes can be kept in the freezer.
