Yogurt with oatmeal and banana. This is a delicious, easy and healthy variation on yogurt with oatmeal.
A delicious yogurt breakfast is something I can always eat! But eating granola everyday bores me sometimes, so I try new recipes every now and then. I experiment a lot in the weekends with ingredients that I still have at home. Or I search the internet for nice recipes. And because I have tried a lot already I know which flavors fit well together.
It is still Summer, but it doesn’t look like it at all. Summer in the Netherlands. Yesterday evening I was on the couch and thinking about putting the heater on. Of course it is still August and a bit too warm to do that, but I was really cold. With a cup of ginger tea I warmed myself, but a warm breakfast is really helpful during these colder days. That is why this quick warm breakfast is so perfect.

How to make it?
Preheat the oven on 180 degrees Celsius (372 Fahrenheit). Put the oatmeal in a bowl with the walnuts. You can optionally chop the walnuts if you prefer. Mix the honey through the oatmeal/walnut mixture and make sure all oatmeal and walnuts are covered with the honey. Lay this mixture on a piece of baking paper on a baking tray and bake for approximately 10 minutes until the oatmeal has become slightly brown.
In the meantime you can decorate the plate. Put the yogurt in a soup plate and decorate with the banana. At last add the walnut/oatmeal mixture as soon is has come out of the oven and is ready.
You can now enjoy this delicious, organic and healthy breakfast.
I like it a lot if you make one of my recipes and I am very curious to see what you made and how you did it. That is why I like it also if you share it on Facebook or Instagram and tag Organic Happiness @organichappinessblog and/or use the hashtag #organichappiness
