The first recipe for my blog was made on a rainy Saturday morning. I have a busy job and since we moved in together we need to the household and groceries as well. Besides that we recently have a puppy that also asks for quite some time and attention. So throughout the week I don’t have much time to bake. I usually have simple breakfasts during the week. My sleep is very important to me, so getting up earlier to make a more extended breakfast is usually not happening. Unless our puppy really can’t sleep anymore and I am downstairs at 5 in the morning.Â

Did you know that almond milk is really healthy? It is naturally low fat and contains a lot of healthy vitamins.Â
I always have the unsweetened almond milk. If you don’t like it or don’t find it sweet enough you can always get the sweetened version. I accidentally once got the sweetened variant and I didn’t like it at all, way too sweet for me. If you don’t believe the recipe is sweet enough you can always add a bit of honey or agave syrup.Â
Cooking time: Â Â Â Â Â 5 minutes
Amount: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 1 portion
None

- 250 milliliters almond milk
- 45 grams oatmeal *
- 60 grams unsalted nuts
- 50 grams blueberries Â
* Can be replaced by gluten free oatmeal to make the recipe gluten free

How to make it?
Put the almond milk in a saucepan. The advantage of this recipe is that you have a healthy breakfast ready within 15 minutes.Â
Â

Â
Add the oatmeal to the pan with almond milk. Mix and set on the fire. Warm slowly on low heat fire to prevent it from burning. This will be the basis for this vegan breakfast recipe.

Â
While the almond milk is warming you can chop the nuts. Chop them as big or small as you like or put them in the food processor if you prefer.

You only have to add the blueberries to it and your vegan breakfast recipe is ready to serve!

I like it a lot if you make one of my recipes and I am very curious to see what you made and how you did it. That is why I like it also if you share it on Facebook or Instagram and tag Organic Happiness @organichappinessblog and/or use the hashtag #organichappiness
